Enterprise Portfolio Software, Inc. (EPS) was incorporated in the state of California in 2010. Prior to our incorporation, EPS was incorporated as Integrated Project Management, Inc. in the year 2000. A conflict with a company having an identical name from the state of Illinois caused us to change our name to EPS. The founders of EPS were convinced they could develop a software product that would help large organizations conduct successful projects. The EPS team spent from January 2000 until May of 2004 researching existing products and the causes of project failures. We then spent three years specifying the requirements of the product and creating a Requirements Specification, Test Plan and User's Guide.

We named the product EPPORA (Enterprise Project Portfolio Optimized Resource Allocation). In 2007 we commenced EPPORA's implementation!
